Have you heard about drop servicing? Do you want to know how to start your first drop servicing business, for free? Then this guide is for you.
I want to share with you how you can close your first client within just 30 days of starting your business.
You might be thinking “But Dylan Sigley! That’s impossible?!?”
How do I know this model works? Because I have used it myself to build successful drop serving businesses over the past five years that bring in six figures. I now teach hundreds of other people how to drop service through my education company The Drop Servicing Blueprint.
I am going to use one of my businesses as an example to take you through all the steps that you need to take to grow a drop servicing business to make $10,000 per month.
Dylan Sigley, What Is Drop Servicing?
Firstly, for those that don’t know here is a basic rundown of what drop servicing is. As a drop servicing business owner, you are essentially an internet middleman. You go out there and find freelancers from around the world who can deliver services such as web design, web development, and copywriting services to a high standard, but for an affordable price. You then find clients that you can offer your services to at a much better price than they can get if they hire someone in their home country. The difference between what you can charge and what you pay freelancers is your profit margin.
What you need to do is determine how much your competitors charge and then undercut them with a lower price to offer prospective clients. This is all made possible with the communications tools that the internet provides us, which are mostly free! Some people will complain “But Dylan Sigley, it’s not that free”, yes it is, and at worse it’s cheap if you know where to look. You can connect teams of high-quality freelancers in poorer countries to clients in richer countries to offer services with the same level of quality.
For example, one of our drop servicing businesses offers graphic design services for a set price to clients. We sell packages for $999, $1499, or $1999 per package. For our lowest cost package of $999, we have found a freelancer that can carry out that work to an amazingly high standard for just $299 – leaving us a profit of $699 for each package sold! The average competitor charges $2,333 per package, so we are offering a massively lower price.
How Do You Start A Drop Servicing Business Dylan Sigley?
Step One – Find A Service
The first step is to find a service that you can provide that there is both a high demand for from clients and that there are freelancers out there who can deliver the service at a good price. You can use platforms like Fivver, Freelancer, and Upwork to find high-quality freelancers. These platforms are also a good way to determine how much demand there is for different types of services.
Step Two – Discover Costs
You can determine how much freelancers charge by visiting their profiles on freelancer platforms and by reaching out to ask them to give you a quote for a specific package that you want to offer. You can find out how much your competitors charge for similar packages by visiting their websites and by reaching out to them via email or phone to ask them.
Step Three – Choose Your Price
Once you know how much you will have to pay freelancers and how much your competitors charge for a similar service you can then determine your pricing. You can either charge slightly less than competitors and make a higher profit per sale or charge a lot less than competitors and make a higher volume of sales.
Step Four – Create Your Offer
A lot of people don’t spend much time working on a great offer to present to prospective clients. To build interest with clients and urgency for them to buy your services it is a good idea to offer a discount, waive fees, offer a free week or month, or you can offer a discount if they provide you with a testimonial. Give your prospective clients a reason to sign up with you right now and not at a future date, you will be able to make sales a lot faster this way.
Step Five – Setup Your Website or LinkedIn
The great thing about drop servicing is that you don’t need an expensive website to get started. You can easily build your website and set up your website domain even with limited technical skills. Some drop servicing owners don’t have any website at all, they just use their LinkedIn page to provide information on what they offer and sign up clients through it. Search Dylan Sigley on LinkedIn to find my profile.
Step Six – Market Your Offer
The final step is to market your offer to prospective clients. At the end of the day, the only thing that matters when you are running your business is sales. Without sales, you don’t have a business. The best way to make sales on a low budget when you start out is to use cold emailing – whereby you find a list of prospective clients and email them about your service to get them onto a sales call with you. Other ways include Facebook outreach, LinkedIn outreach, using affiliate programs, and using freelancer platforms. Check out my Dylan Sigley profile on Facebook to learn more about that.
The Bottom Line
The main thing you want to focus on when you just starting is finding a service, creating an offer, and reaching out to potential clients with that offer. To make $10,000 per month all you need is four clients paying you $2500 per month.
Drop servicing is super simple to start and anyone can do it without any knowledge or super-specific skills. The best way to get going is to take the first step and start your journey to a life of freedom. If you want to go even deeper join ‘The Drop Servicing Blueprint by Dylan Sigley’.
